This study utilized the following aerosolized pathogens:
Mycobacterium avium (non pathogenic Tuberculosis)
Legionella pneumophila (non pathogenic Legionaires disease)
Staphylococcus aureus (non pathogenic Staph)
High levels of the above pathogens were aerosolized and introduced into a contained environment
in 3 independent trials. Once electrostatically captured and contained within the body of water, the
pathogen deactivation rate was consistently measured as 99% effective in a single pass.
